The oven settings above are
only approximate as different makes of cookers and individual cookers vary.
Study the chart supplied
with your cooker - particularly as regards position in the oven for baking.
Always open and close the oven door gently - slamming the door may make a
cake fall in the centre. Remember to leave at least 2 cm (1 inch) space all
around baking sheets and tins so that the heat can circulate freely.
